BIG BOY BED!

Well ... it's not exactly his real big, boy bed ... but I won't be too picky. J How has a fun bed all set up from IKEA and we've been waiting (okay ... I've been dragging my feet) to put him in his new room.

We were reading books in his new room today and I was talking to J How about his big, boy bed. We had a few people stay with us last week and there was a twin mattress left on the floor of his new room. He thought the twin mattress was the big, boy bed and ... the rest is history!


I told How that he couldn't get out of his bed until he was done sleeping and then he needed to tell me, "All done, Mom!" I heard him wake up so I rushed upstairs to give him a big high five for taking a big, boy nap and after about five minutes of J How staying put ... he finally looks at me and says, "Get up?" What a good little rule follower! If only he would do that good of job when it came to my not pushing little kids down at the park??? Oh well ... one step at a time!


I did make him stay put until I ran downstairs to grab my camera ... he got back under the covers just for the photo moment!
