The early birthday celebration was supposed to happen the night before. Or the night before the night before. It gets confusing. The days following SeaWorld were a bit of a blur. Because ... if anyone is still counting ... in the 48 hours that followed our sea creature adventure, MANY episodes of vomit came our way. MANY. We were already at five and by the end of Wednesday ... I'm sure we were getting way closer to FIFTEEN. 
So ... there was great anticipation when the morning of the party arrived ...
Some of us ... could hardly stay in our seats and thought becoming one with the table would make the cake appear faster.
The crew sang a wonderful HAPPY BIRTHDAY song to me ...
And we opened gifts. Whenever J How is around any sort of wrapped item ... he'll insist on offering his assistance. So we unwrapped and we ... made a lovely unwrapping team.
A yoga kit and yoga dvd ... a cake decorating book ... a gift card to Nordstroms ...
and A FABULOUS orange purse ... that I LOVE!
But still. There was one thing left.
Just minutes after breakfast and certainly well before 11am ... cake and ice cream were served. Not just any ice cream. My sweet sister-in-law ... knowing I have a thing for SMORES ... (okay, it's more like a smore addiction), found B and J's Smores ice cream. It's a toss up between my love for the orange purse and the ice cream. They both made for a very happy almost birthday girl!

What a fun way to end our time in California! Thanks Mom and Dad B and Jenn for making my early birthday celebration so fun!
