I woke up Sunday morning and realized the I had used up all the eggs and pancake mix the day before. Nice! Nothing says WE LOVE YOU like slightly old toast and a few mushy strawberries. I quickly grabbed Joshua and we headed out to Einsteins. By the time we got home, about 45 minutes later, Ben was no longer in bed and our BIG PLAN A (breakfast in bed) had to switch to our BIG PLAN B (cramming breakfast down our throats as we tried to get ready for church). No biggy! Besides, Joshua wasn't too hip on the breakfast delivery gig. He much preferred staying downstairs and eating his bagel and letting me do all the delivery work.
(There is a huge water fountain at church and Joshua was doing his all time best attempt to make a fast break and head for the H20!)
My favorite part of the day was watching Joshua and Ben work on Ben's gift .... a once boring white lighthouse transformed into a now very colorful lighthouse! Watch out Picasso!
