Good-Bye, Harley!

Harley, our pug of five years, has been staying at my mom's house since Eli was born. As time went one, Ben and I realized that with 2 boys and his crazy travel schedule ... we needed to find Harley a home where people could give him all the attention he needed and deserved. So ... we made the REALLY difficult decision of giving him up for adoption to the Arizona Pug Rescue. Lots of tears ... but we feel we made the best choice for our family and for Harley. We sure will miss him. He added a lot of joy to our home and a LOT of fur!
He is currently with a foster home and might find his forever home this week. The gal from Pug Rescue says they're doing a home visit for an interested couple in the next few days. We're praying that Harley finds just the perfect home!

  1. We gave our dog to Small Dog Rescue right before Faith was born. I didn't cry, but felt a little guilt. Then Mikele, Sheila, and a few others reminded me that they did the same thing. Life without a dog is so much less crazy!!!
