A Lot Can Happen in 13 days!

A trek to Colorado Springs, FCA Golf Camp, cooking for 30+, turning 30, a LOT of time in our car, watching more Backyardigans and Elmo's World than one could EVER imagine, spending time with great friends, watching my son really wish he could be a big kid, wishing we could turn back time and prevent the HUGE fat lip from occuring at McDonald's, really wishing that we hadn't eaten at McDonald's (but there aren't too many choices in the happening town of Holbrook), and finally arriving home to almost dead plants (our neighbor came out seconds after we arrived home and admitted his watering brain lapse) ... a dust covered patio, a child who couldn't be happier to be out of a car and ... THE HEAT!

So much happened in the last 13 days that I'll be back-blogging for WEEKS! But ... I'll be having a great time catching you all up because one of my 30 birthday gifts I received from Ben included a BRAND NEW - VERY FUN - VERY TINY - camera :) YIPPIE!

Only problem is that I can't locate my old camera that has ALL the camp photos on it ... so those pics will have to wait! But I did capture Mr. J. How busting out his horse jockey skills this evening. Quite impressive! (You'll notice the remains of the fat lip scar ... I'll have to locate the picture of the fat lip at some point!)

(I know everyone says How looks like Ben but don't you see a little resemblance in the top picture? Yes? I'm totally holding out for #2 looking like me!!)
