The Free Ride Is Over ...

For the record, he did ask to help. Actually, he begged. "Can I clean? Pleeeeaaassse!" And I'm certainly not one to disappoint a child who desires to become ... shall we say ... well-rounded in the area of home maintenance. I gave him a cleaning cloth and off he went. It was his lucky day! Seeing as I hadn't cleaned in WEEKS and we were preparing for Ben's parents to visit ... there was plenty of scrubbing to go around!
And more scrubbing ...
And carpet scrubbing ...
And just as I was putting my feet up, reaching for a magazine and starting to think that life didn't get much better than a 2 year old who wanted to clean ... my little guy needed a scrubbing break. I totally agree with you, J. How. CLEANING ... It's just not all it's cracked up to be!

  4. J.How, unfortunately I don't have Disneyland to bargain with, but I'm sure I can be creative and think of something ... I did teach, you know.
