Joshua had a great time at Mother Nature's Farm ... picked his own pumpkin, fed the pigs, sat in the tractor seat and selected the baby chick he wanted to take home (No, I haven't completely lost my mind ... the "Brock, brock" as J How called him is still with his friends at the farm) and I would love to share pictures of all of that fun ... but I forgot my camera! BUMMER!
So onto things I actually have captured on film ... J How had his eye on this package from the moment it entered the house. The Sesame Street wrapping paper might have helped! J How decided to show Grandpa Mark a thing or to about tent construction ... well, he more or less just exercised his SUPERINTENDENT skills ... wanting everyone to work faster!

Totally worth the wait! He looks like he might unpack and stay awhile!

Ahhh ... construction is hard work! Time for a bit of a nap with Mook.

The next day, we headed to McCormick Ranch Railroad Park for some CHOO CHOO fun!
This might have been Joshua's favorite thing we did all weekend. He still can't stop talking about trains ... CHOO CHOO WHOO WHOO!
Getting ready to take a ride on the Paradise Railway!
J How wanted to give the conductor (or is he an engineer?) a few pointers ...
Actually, I think this was J How's favorite part ... forget the trains ... he LOVED the horses! That poor horse got smothered with J How love ... not once but twice!
Jan has a fantastic collection of puppets that J How wished could have stayed at our house.
My favorite part of the afternoon was when J How went down for a nap and we looked at photos and heard fascinating stories about Jan's nephew Chris. Into the Wild is a movie that just came out a few weeks ago (directed by Sean Penn) about Chris and his trip to Alaska. Ben and I haven't been to see the movie yet but I'm there ... as soon as EBB makes his arrival.
