Coming Home.

My neurotic nesting tendencies have kicked in. Dust bunnies that have probably been quite at home in my hallway for the better part of 3 months ... NOW. MUST. GO! I scrubbed down our shower with every earth friendly product I could get my hands on (and now Ben must go back with a serious chemical because it looks worse now than before) and I scoured the stove last night at 10pm. TOTALLY NORMAL! Ben is waiting for the morning that I wake up at 6am and start working on the kitchen cabinets. Apparently ... that's the sign in our family that the upcoming arrival of our children is coming quickly.

Thankfully, my nesting tendencies include more than just super-hero like cleaning abilities ... they also include my desire to sew. And ever since we found out a girl would be joining our family, I have been determined to find an outfit that matched a pair of hot pink shoes I've kept in our closet for the past five years. I've had them since I was pregnant the first time (if you're keeping track ... we're up to six) ... and just couldn't bare to part with their cuteness.

And since there just isn't a whole lot on the market for babies that include black and hot pink ...
This is what I came up with ...
The girl child's COMING HOME outfit! And it's a good thing she can't totally see when she comes home because the sleeves need a bit of work ... but from a distance ... it will do :)
