We're Cooking Now ...

A few more projects have been completed and the upstairs of our house is finally starting to take shape!  The frame above the bed had been empty for three months and I finally decided it was time to take the IKEA logo out and put something else in!  Nothing can be so simple when it happens in my world though ... bought too little fabric so I ended up piecing it together!  My mom made the bed skirt and pillows and I added the ribbon to the lampshades!  Yes, I know ... I ended up with the WAY easier jobs!
And this chair used to be brown with a red cushion ... I'm thinking I'll have to make a purse out of the leftovers!  Wait, did I say I was making the purse?  Make that ... I'll have to BEG my mom to make a purse!  That sounds better!
My "office" space (in the hallway) needs a bulletin board and a cover for the file cabinet.  The material I bought is pretty girly but I figured I needed a few flowers in this BOY filled home of ours!  Now if I could just get someone to organize my files!

  4. Hey Carrie. The room looks sooo cute! Of course, I haven't seen the rest of your house but...it's still cute. I got updated on everything since June 4th and the kiddos are sure adorable. You and Ben know how to make them! And, when I see finger paints and our kids, I shudder. Guess it takes a certain person like you to be excited about crafts with toddlers. I didn't get that spiritual gift. :)
