He Is Risen.

Joshua came home from preschool the other day and said, "Do you want to know what REALLY happened to Jesus?" And over cold juice and fish crackers, he explained ...
"He had a crown of thorns on his head and a lot of cuts. He was put in a cave with a big stone but His powers moved the stone away and He's not there anymore. He is RISEN! And we're going to heaven. But not yet. Heaven isn't ready yet. When Heaven is ready, God will knock on the door and scream HEAVEN IS READY! And then I'll get there and I'll look around and say, What in the world is this place! And I'll be so excited!"
HAPPY EASTER! He is Risen!

  6. Happy Easter! He is risen, indeed :) I love it. Especially "what in the world is this place?" Precious to see little minds get it (sometimes better than we grown ups do).
