It's midnight ... and I can't find the gluestick ...

In my past life, I might have considered the discovery of such a drawer an embarrassment to my organizational skills but tonight ... I felt compelled to grab my camera and show it to the world! Oh, and if you think this drawer stands alone in our home ... he has friends. Many, many friends. I do try. I buy cute little boxes and neatly sort my paper clips. I love anything color coded and I find the purging of junk to bring great satisfaction to my soul. But, without fail, even my best attempts turn out like this: And if you're curious ... I did not find the glue stick in this drawer. But I did find:
1. A Disney cd player
2. 3 packages of travel size tissues
3. Gold silly putty
4. 2 movie tickets
5. The instructions to the Magic Bullet
6. A menu to our local Chinese restaurant
7. A Christmas ornament I've had since I was 12.
8. Lip gloss
9. Dental floss
10. Ben's favorite Napoleon Dynamite pen (which now that I found ... I'll be hiding it again!)
11. The finial to a lamp shade that was sold in a garage sale last year
12. And more Sharpies, pens and pencils than could be used in a lifetime

I'd go on ... but I'd rather not bore you. No, instead ... I'd rather see a picture of your junk drawers. Let me know that I'm not alone in this endless quest to find a spot for that over-sized paper clip that never seems to find a permanent home. Let's consider it our mid-week therapy.

Tomorrow ... I'll go back to my posting the 106 pictures I just downloaded onto the computer. (Oh ... did that scare you more than the junk drawer? I'll try to pick my favorites!!) But for tonight ... I'll rest in my junk drawer glory ... that is ... until someone can make my drawer look neat!
